I'm Moving!

Ultimate sadface on a stick, you guys. I'm moving. Leaving this old town for a new city. A big city with all the lights and flashy junk. A whole new state. Didn't think it was for sure, but now it's for serious. I sound like a teenager when I type like this so I'm going to freakin stop.

Seriously, I'm moving soon. It all depends on how soon my mother can find a new job in the city...but by the end of December, I will no longer be a resident of North Carolina. My life will move onward to Virginia. For security purposes, I will not mention what part of North Carolina I live in nor will I tell you what part of Virginia I will reside within, but I am moving.

It's never fun to move away from a place you're so used to. I grew up here. Ended my final year of Elementary school and went through middle and high school here. I had my firsts and lasts here. The most important in the entire world to me were met here.

So why am I so excited?

I should be really sad, but I see this move as something great for me. A real chance to start over a second time. I had my chance to completely reconstruct myself in going to a college where only two of my fellow graduates attend, but now I get to move away from all the pains and drama of this old town. This is good for me. No more worrying about running into the undesirables when I go out or go to work. A chance to explore another big city (I used to live outside of Atlanta)

Anyway, I'll still attend college in North Carolina and will eventually get my own place probably close to school when I find a job that can support me enough to pay my own bills. Right now I'm living off minimum wage which isn't cutting it but it's so difficult to find something else when you're just a student without a complete college education.

I'm sure this won't make anyone sadskis, but I just had to write about it.

Counting down to move out day...

  1. Ultimate sadface kimosabe but think on the bright side...you'll be closer to me. We might have to turn this relationship into a short distance love affair. You do realize I live near the beach, yes? You can live with me in my shit ass cottage thing when you need a break from the family, yeah?

I love you, don't be sad (even though you tried to come across as strong girl)

  2. Beautiful Geoffff all ova the worldddd (blah blah blah some other woordssss) they ain't got nothin on youuuu babyyyy!

Thank you. I'm really glad something good may come out of this move other than the whole starting over bit. I really do appreciate our (lack there of) relationship. You are a beautiful piece of manskin and your mom loves you. She told me to tell you that. She also wanted me to remind you to wear sunblock because skin cancer comes from the sun. Listen to your mother so she doesn't treat me like a daughter-in-law. Thanks.

    I love you too Geoffrey.

  3. My mom has nothing to do with this. Well tell her that I'm working late and won't be able to go to the old house to visit because I'm going to MY apartment to sleep.
